Project overview：
Laogang Phase IV project was located near the beach of East China Sea at the east side of Laogang Town, Nanhui District, Shanghai, covering an area of 3.36 square kilometers, about 60 kilometers from the urban center. Project design and production capacity was to process 4,900 tons of municipal domestic waste per day. The phase IV project of Shanghai Laogang domestic waste landfill site entered trial operation on February 21, 2005. The principal part of the project was officially put into operation on December 12. The total investment of the project was RMB 510 million.
